There was significant focus on enhancing public personnel and the merit legislation currently under review by Parliament. “We are building a modern and appealing Public Administration that recognizes talent, rewards results, and provides concrete growth paths for those who demonstrate skills and capabilities.”
Regarding negotiations, the minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to finalize contract renewals by summer. “For the first time, we are ensuring continuity in renewals, something unprecedented in the Republic’s history. We have rectified the delays from previous administrations, swiftly concluded the 2019/2021 and 2022/2024 rounds, and initiated discussions for the 2025/2027 triennium during this reference period. This is a crucial achievement that highlights the value of our workforce,” the minister concluded.
