ROMA (ITALPRESS) – After a week of discussions, a process has concluded that led to the signing of the proposal for the renewal of the integrative company agreement between Ferrero and the national secretariats of Fai, Flai, Uila, the coordination of the unitary trade union representations, and the commercial network, with the participation of regional trade union secretariats. The agreement will be submitted by the unions for review by employees during dedicated assemblies convened at various Italian sites.
The agreement confirms the validity of contractual tools for flexibility in work hours, the investment program aimed at supporting business growth and confirming the strategic role of the Italian hub in Ferrero’s development, and the strengthening of research and development activities, product and process innovation. The plan encompasses strategic directions focused on business growth, enhancing industrial competitiveness, digital transformation and smart factories, occupational safety, food quality and safety, as well as environmental sustainability and decarbonization. Regarding welfare, the agreement further enhances the attention to employees through new measures under the “People at Ferrero” package, which is enriched with additional services for promoting well-being and work-life balance; for company facilities lacking catering services, the introduction of meal vouchers is planned.
Moreover, the company aims to implement a structured support program for caregiver employees. At the same time, “Ferrero Care” is confirmed as a welfare ecosystem aimed at providing concrete responses to the needs of individuals, as well as the assistance program for employees and their families (EAP) and solidarity tools among colleagues, such as the Solidarity Hour Bank. The agreement also places particular emphasis on the evolution of organizational work models; specifically, the gradual introduction of a new work approach on production lines. Furthermore, health and safety remain a corporate priority. Innovative communication campaigns, including emotional elements, will continue to be implemented to strengthen the link between safety and everyday life values. Regarding the achievement-related bonus, the agreement stipulates that upon reaching 100% of targets, the following amounts will be recognized: Fiscal year 2026/2027: €2,730; fiscal year 2027/2028: €2,730; fiscal year 2028/2029: €2,890; fiscal year 2029/2030: €3,100. The duration of the agreement is set for 4 years, expiring in June 2030.
