WASHINGTON (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – “Tomorrow, I’m focused on
preparing the table for the next meeting, which should take place
soon. I would prefer it to be in Alaska, as it’s much easier.”
Tomorrow “will be very interesting. We will understand where everyone
stands and we will quickly see in the first few minutes if the meeting
will be positive or negative. If it’s negative, it will end very quickly; if
it’s positive, we could have peace in the near future.” This is what the
President of the United States, Donald Trump, said to reporters in the
Oval Office on the eve of the summit with Russian President
Vladimir Putin. “I believe the meeting with President Putin will go
well. But the most important meeting will be the second one, with
President Zelensky as well. We may also bring in some European
leaders. We will see what happens; it’s going to be very important for
Russia and for us. I think President Putin wants peace,” he added. “If
I hadn’t been president, Putin would have taken all of Ukraine, but I’m
the president, and he won’t mess with me,” he stressed.
