OSAKA (JAPAN) (LA4NEWS/ITALPRESS) – Today, the Republic of San Marino celebrated its National Day at Expo 2025 Osaka. The event featured the presence of the highest San Marino authorities, the Captains Regent Denise Bronzetti and Italo Righi, along with the Secretary of State for Tourism delegated to Expo, Federico Pedini Amati. The official delegation first visited the San Marino Pavilion, where they were welcomed by General Commissioner Filippo Francini, Pavilion Director Laura Franciosi, and the volunteer staff.

In the setting of the National Day Hall, before an international audience and delegations from other participating countries and international organizations, the official ceremony took place, honoring the foundational values of the Republic such as liberty and independence, in a spirit of global dialogue and cooperation. The Captains Regent conveyed greetings from the people of San Marino, reaffirming the Republic’s commitment to being a bridge between cultures, a guardian of ancient traditions, and a promoter of a sustainable future.

“The Republic of San Marino has successfully interpreted the theme of the World Expo, “Designing the Society of the Future for Our Lives,” which reflects the desire to collaboratively create a sustainable, inclusive, and diversified society in light of the challenges and significant changes facing humanity – they stated in their speech. By emphasizing the theme of EXPO, we wish to highlight the connection to Our Blessed Founder, who since 301 AD has inspired what has become a project of community and societal value for the future; a model that centers on the individual and the core principles of democracy, freedom, and peace, which are the foundational values of our Republic. These are the preconditions that see us today as protagonists of the National Day, contributing to the development of a collective consciousness on major issues, respecting rights and fundamental values.”

“From the summit of Mount Titano, expanding horizons is a way of life for those who have always inhabited our land, free and independent,” continued the Captains Regent. Secretary of State Federico Pedini Amati highlighted the strategic importance of participating in the Expo: “Being here today sends a strong message. San Marino showcases its identity and its ability to build authentic relationships based on shared values and the promotion of our territory, culture, and excellence.” The General Commissioner of San Marino for Expo 2025 Osaka, Filippo Francini, expressed his satisfaction with this significant milestone: “The National Day represents the culmination of our work and vision. We aimed to create a Pavilion that authentically and beautifully speaks of us, offering the world a true image of a small country in size but great in values. It has been thrilling to see San Marino take center stage in such a prestigious and international context.”
