ROMA (ITALPRESS) – The Nuova Lancia Gamma has been selected as one of the seven finalists for the Auto Europa 2027 Award, an accolade organized by UIGA, the Union of Italian Automotive Journalists. Alongside the new Italian flagship, six other vehicles manufactured in Europe are vying for the award, with the winner to be announced on October 27.
This nomination marks another significant acknowledgment for the Nuova Lancia Gamma, which was unveiled globally at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, coinciding with the 120th anniversary of the brand. Entirely designed, developed, and produced in Italy at the Stellantis plant in Melfi, the Gamma is a fastback crossover that signifies a pivotal milestone in Lancia’s revitalization journey. The model carries forward the legacy of the iconic flagships that have defined Lancia’s unique history, reinterpreting it through Italian design, innovation, comfort, and modern technology.
Moreover, Gamma’s inclusion among the finalists holds particular significance in this edition of the award, which exclusively features vehicles produced in Europe and, according to UIGA, showcases the profound transformation of the continent’s automotive industry. For Lancia, this nomination further enhances a project that is 100% Made in Italy, conceived in Melfi, and aimed at the European market.
