10 laps, covering more than 700 km at an average speed of 85 km/h, fueled by just one energy charge and 30 km of remaining autonomy: the electric vehicles from the star brand triumph in a new ring challenge: the notorious 68 kilometers of the Grande Raccordo Anulare encircling the capital. This area, a mix of joy and frustration for Roman drivers, has become a new domain for the innovative CLA. This impressive achievement was verified by the instructors from ACI Guida Sicura, who monitored the two CLA 250+ models utilized in the test throughout its entirety.
“After celebrating the records set by the Concept AMG GT XX on the Nardò track, we realized that almost daily we face a challenge with a similarly demanding ring that transitions from high-performance realms to the everyday driving experience, where our new CLA will soon take center stage. This vehicle embodies—and partially inherits—the technological investment realized in the Concept AMG GT XXX in terms of performance, reflected in efficiency, autonomy, charging speed, and comfort. As we approach the launch of the new CLA in our dealerships, we chose to engage it in this test to further validate the remarkable values of the CLA, while paying tribute to the many individuals whose passion and expertise turn technological advancements and innovation into cornerstone milestones in transportation history,” stated Marc Langenbrinck, President and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Italia.
