TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Fiat has introduced the special series of the 500 Hybrid Cabrio Dolcevita and the new 600 Turbo 100 today at its Stellantis&You headquarters in Turin. This initiative underscores the Italian brand’s commitment to promoting simple and accessible mobility. The exclusive Cabrio version of the 500 Hybrid Dolcevita draws inspiration from Italian coastal summers and the sophisticated elegance of the 1960s. Staying true to its heritage, a cabriolet variant of the 500 has been part of the iconic Italian model lineup since its debut in 1957. Its exterior boasts exclusive design features such as chrome mirror caps, a dedicated Dolcevita badge, newly designed 16″ diamond-cut alloy wheels, a custom blue fabric hood, and full LED headlights. Inside, the refined theme continues with houndstooth fabric seats and vinyl featuring an embroidered “500” logo, a 10.25″ DAB radio, automatic climate control, a rain sensor, and rear parking sensors. Throughout June, the 500 Hybrid Cabrio Dolcevita is available at a promotional price of €19,950, subject to trade-in and financing through Stellantis Financial Services.
As for the 600 Turbo 100, its core is the new 100 HP Turbo petrol engine—a three-cylinder 1,199 cm³ unit producing 101 HP and 205 Nm of torque—paired with a six-speed manual transmission for an intuitive and engaging driving experience. This new powertrain complements the existing hybrid and electric versions and is available across all trims (Pop, Icon, Business, La Prima, Sport). “Fiat listens to its customers; a significant number of Italians—50%—opt for a compact SUV like the 600 fitted with a manual transmission, meaning 40% forgo electrification for a more accessible vehicle that fully meets their needs,” explains Alessio Scutari, Managing Director of Fiat Italia. “The 600 carries forward its style, inspired by the 500, offering greater comfort, more features, enhanced safety, and exceptional performance in terms of dynamics and fuel efficiency from the new Turbo 100 engine.” Prices start at €23,850, with a launch offer of €18,950.
“May 21 was a significant day for us; Fiat, our national brand, ranks among the four main brands of the group globally. This achievement is noteworthy, as Fiat globally sells an average of over 100,000 vehicles monthly. In just five months, we have already surpassed 500,000 vehicles sold worldwide,” stated Gaetano Thorel, Head of Fiat Europe. “Another indicator of our brand’s strength in Europe is the private market share, where we have climbed eight positions, making Fiat the fifth brand in private market selections, signifying strong consumer preference. This is a point of pride for our brand.” Thorel also highlighted developments at the Mirafiori plant: “We have kept our promise by returning the 500 production to Mirafiori. Within five months, we have already produced the same number of 500s as we did last year. Starting in June, every new 500 produced will exceed last year’s output, with the added bonus of the convertible version and right-hand drive for the UK market arriving soon.”
