The Minister’s Remarks
“Tourism in Cremona has seen significant growth, largely due to investments made through trade fairs, but there’s still a lot more that can be done by collaborating and enhancing local resources,” Minister Santanchè stated during the meeting. “For instance, the enhancement of the exhibition hall is something I’m optimistic about: you will see that we will succeed. Additionally, there are local resources that remain untapped, such as river tourism, which has the potential to create a distinctive brand linked to water, connecting all the municipalities along the rivers. In this regard,” the minister noted, “the Ministry is already supporting a project under the small municipalities tourism program. Moreover, we must seize opportunities presented by major events, such as superbike-themed manifestations, and take on the challenge of artificial intelligence, which should be viewed as an ally for humanity and not the other way around, to further enhance the already excellent results in these sectors. In short,” the minister concluded, “we have the resources, the skills, and the optimism. We are Italy, and together we will achieve great things, just as we have already begun to do.”
