LAS VEGAS (UNITED STATES) (ITALPRESS) – The Las Vegas Convention Center once again served as the “winter home” of the Fancy Food event.
The Italian excellence came to life in the traditional “Italian Pavilion”, the largest exhibition area in the entire international section of the fair. The Italian area, measuring about 1000sqm, hosted 101 stands showcasing the best of Italian agro-food companies along with regional districts from Piemonte, Calabria, and Sicilia.
This year, 2025, is special for Italy as it will serve as the Country Partner for both editions of the Fancy Food Shows for the fourth time in history: the Winter Fancy Food Show from January 19 to 21, 2025, at the Las Vegas Convention Center; and the Summer Fancy Food Show from June 29 to July 1, 2025, at the Jacob Javits Convention Center, New York.
Organized and managed by Universal Marketing, the exclusive agent for Italy for the Specialty Food Association, this space presents a unique opportunity for Italian producers to connect with the international market, showcasing the best of our country’s culinary tradition and innovation.
The strong collaboration among the Specialty Food Association, Italian Trade Agency, and Universal Marketing in organizing the Fancy Food Shows is a significant example of synergy between public and private entities promoting Italian products in the United States.
There are many exciting developments this 2025 in Las Vegas for the Winter Fancy Food Show.
In the Italian Pavilion, as usual, the entire range of Made in Italy agro-food products was showcased, complemented by attractions and promotional activities, including show-cooking events on the first and second days of the fair.
Italian companies, gathered in a dedicated area designed for high visual impact, were featured alongside a new branding campaign titled “Italia, the Art of Taste”, where Renaissance-inspired reproductions highlighting Italian food culture adorned the Italian Pavilion.
The traditional Lounge organized by ICE (the Italian Trade Agency) was located in a prime area within the Italian Pavilion, featuring a special station dedicated to “Italian Aperitivo”, where visitors could experience authentic Italian Style through exhibits of renowned Italian products like salami, cheese, and coffee.
In conjunction with the Winter Fancy Food 2025, the Italian Trade Agency organized a special evening to celebrate national excellence in support of Italy’s application for UNESCO intangible cultural heritage status for Italian cuisine. This effort has seen ICE collaborating closely with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty, and Forests, and its Minister Francesco Lollobrigida to achieve this important goal.
“The entire SFA team is excited to work with Italy for both the 2025 Fancy Food Shows,” stated Bill Lynch, President of SFA. “Our friends at Universal Marketing have developed some new ideas and engagements that will unfold within the Italian Pavilion and other areas of the show, highlighting the quality and sensory abilities of Italian cuisine; from live chef demonstrations to new product showcases, and much more,” he added. “We are grateful to have Italy as a partner in planning unforgettable experiences at the upcoming Fancy Food Shows.”
“The ICE Agency is committed to supporting the agro-food sector in the USA and, with the invaluable collaboration of the organizers, SFA and Universal Marketing, the ICE office in New York once again offers a communication space, authentic product tastings, and assistance available for companies in the Italian Pavilion,” stated Erica di Giovancarlo, Director of the ICE Agency in New York and Coordinator of the USA network. “Being the Partner Country for 2025 at the Fancy Food Shows, first in Las Vegas and then in New York, is an honor for the Italian System, but above all, it represents a recognition of Italian companies for their ability to provide a wide range of products characterized by quality and excellence that Americans increasingly appreciate year after year, as confirmed by the latest data. In 2024, exports in this sector to the USA are projected to reach 7.3 billion dollars, with partial data for the first nine months of 2024 amounting to 6.3 billion dollars, showing a double-digit growth rate exceeding 17%. Products such as water, pasta, cheese, oil, wine, and sauces consistently top American consumers’ preferences, contributing to Italy’s third position for exports in this sector, after Mexico and Canada.”
“Thirty years ago, we accepted an extraordinary challenge by participating in the creation of the Italian Pavilion at the Fancy Food Shows, and today we are very proud to contribute to making Italy the Country Partner of the Fancy Food Shows for the fourth time in 2025,” said Donato Cinelli, President of Universal Marketing, the exclusive agent for Italy for the Specialty Food Association. “Step by step, we have seen Italian entrepreneurs, districts, and consortia grow, understanding the importance of narrating the story of their products; today more than ever, the United States is captivated by the stories of Made in Italy: Quality, Passion, and Success. Italian food represents a standard of excellence in the United States. Italy boasts the largest international pavilion at the Fancy Food Shows and has significantly contributed to the strength and quality of the event over the years.”
