TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Everything is set for the opening ceremony that will officially mark the start of the Brussels Motor Show tomorrow. Now in its 101st edition, this Belgian event serves as a prime showcase to admire the latest innovations in international automotive and to glimpse the trends shaping the future of mobility. The first day, dedicated to press and industry professionals, kicks off an unmissable exhibition that the general public can enjoy from January 11 to 19. One of the major attractions is undoubtedly the Lancia stand, which is undergoing an exciting renaissance, propelled by a solid and ambitious roadmap that is bringing it back to the zenith of the European premium market. At the center of the display are the latest creations from the Italian brand – the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF and the Ypsilon in Hybrid and Electric versions – which are sure to pique the curiosity of visitors, echoing the success these extraordinary models have garnered so far.
Tomorrow, a spectacular presentation of the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF will take place, featuring Lancia’s CEO, Luca Napolitano, alongside Miki Biasion, a true legend in motorsport history who, between the 1980s and 1990s, indelibly linked his name to Lancia, becoming Italy’s most successful driver of all time. The driver will reveal how he experienced the development of the new model and the emotions tied to Lancia’s return to the world of Rally.
Available for order through the Stellantis Motorsport Racing Shop and priced at €74,500, the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF features a 1.2 Turbo three-cylinder engine that delivers 212 hp and a 5-speed mechanical transmission with a mechanical limited-slip differential. The front-wheel-drive configuration ensures agility and optimal performance, making it ideal for young drivers looking to shine, starting from the Rally 4 category, which represents pure passion and the first step for aspiring champions of tomorrow.
With the debut of the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF comes the exciting “Trofeo Lancia Rally,” which will be contested over six rounds of the 2025 Italian Rally Championship, with a total prize pool of around €300,000, covering race prizes, end-of-season awards for category winners, and a grand prize for the overall winner of the Trophy, who will have the opportunity to compete in the 2026 European Rally Championship with the Ypsilon Rally 4 HF from the official Lancia Corse HF team. Alongside the dynamic Ypsilon Rally 4 HF, visitors to the stand can admire the New Ypsilon, in Hybrid and Electric configurations, which place it at the forefront of its segment for versatility, efficiency, and environmental respect. In particular, the hybrid version is powered by a state-of-the-art hybrid engine, with a 1.2 L capacity producing 100 hp (74 Kw), utilizing 48V technology with three cylinders, combining maximum efficiency with reliability, ensuring an extremely smooth driving experience and even electric mobility under certain conditions.
The New Lancia Ypsilon is the first Stellantis production vehicle equipped with the S.A.L.A. system, the virtual and intelligent interface that provides a comfortable driving experience consistent with Lancia’s effortless technology. Furthermore, it is best-in-class in the premium B-segment hatchback category, thanks to its most comprehensive equipment, a large 10.25” display, the best standard parking assist system, a more advanced external lighting system, and being the only model in its segment equipped with standard Level 2 Autonomous Driving.
Lastly, it’s worth noting that the range consists of three versions catering to different clients: New Lancia Ypsilon, elegant and aimed at younger customers; New Lancia Ypsilon LX, the richest and most complete version; and the CASSINA edition, for those who wish to feel at home in their car. Each trim reflects an attention to interior design that captures a home feeling, elegant yet sustainable, in perfect Lancia style, culminating in the exclusive Cassina version, which represents the pinnacle of design, comfort, and well-being.
