TORINO (ITALPRESS) – Alfa Romeo has repeated its 2024 success by achieving a remarkable triple victory at the “Best Cars” awards in Germany and Switzerland. Readers of the German automotive magazine “auto motor und sport” have named the Alfa Romeo Giulia as the winner in the “Midsize Import” category for the eighth consecutive time. The Alfa Romeo Tonale outperformed the competition, securing the title of best imported vehicle in the “Compact SUV/Off-road” category. Simultaneously, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio was awarded the best imported model in the “Large SUV/Off-road” category.
The “Best Cars” competition, organized by the Stuttgart-based magazine “auto motor und sport,” celebrated its 49th edition this year. Over 94,000 readers participated, voting for their favorite cars from a record total of 462 candidates across 13 categories, including dedicated rankings for imported brands. The official award ceremony will take place on May 9, 2025, during the traditional anniversary celebration of the Hamburg port.
In Switzerland, Alfa Romeo has been recognized as the best brand for style by the readers of Auto Illustrierte. Additionally, for the eighth consecutive time, the Alfa Romeo Giulia has been reaffirmed as the top choice in the midsize category within the “Best Cars” competition. The Alfa Romeo Stelvio ranked first in the “SUV/Off-road” category for the seventh time, while the Junior won the title in the “Small SUV/Crossover” category in its debut year. The 31st edition of the “Best Cars” competition featured 462 models across 13 categories. The results of the “Best Cars” competitions once again highlight the extraordinary appeal of Alfa Romeo’s innovative technology and Italian design to car enthusiasts in Germany and Switzerland.
