MONTEREY (USA) (ITALPRESS) – During the Monterey Car Week, the unique Ferrari Luce “Tailor Made” has set an auction record, achieving a staggering price of 40 million dollars. With all proceeds going to the Ferrari Foundation, this achievement will further bolster the long-standing support of the Prancing Horse towards global educational programs, providing access to learning opportunities and supporting school initiatives for future generations.
Auctioned in collaboration with RM Sotheby’s, the first production chassis of the Luce sparked a spirited bidding war at one of the most prestigious events in the automotive world. This milestone comes a year after Ferrari’s previous record of 26 million dollars with a one-of-a-kind Ferrari Daytona SP3 “Tailor Made” from 2025.
Crafted through the joint expertise of Ferrari Tailor Made and the Ferrari Design Studio, the “Chassis 0” – adorned with a pearlescent, shimmering, semi-metallic finish – embodies the theme of light, which inspired its name. The Luce “Tailor Made” “showcases Ferrari’s technical forefront, profound design innovation, materials, and colors, as well as artisanal craftsmanship,” reads a statement.
All funds raised will be allocated to support educational opportunities in the United States and around the globe.
